 Kate's story

Kate Collins Author

Meet Kate Collins

Kate Collins is the New York Times bestselling author of the Flower Shop Mystery series. An Indiana native, Kate graduated from Purdue University with a master's degree in education. She taught elementary school for six years, but after the birth of her first child, gave up teaching to pursue a long-time dream of putting her stories to paper.

After publishing a series of short children’s stories, she sold her first historical romantic suspense novel in 1995. Seven romance novels later, she switched to her true love, mysteries. Kate is very proud that the Flower Shop Mystery series has made the New York Times Bestsellers list three times.

With over twenty books in the Flower Shop Mystery series still earning fantastic reviews, readers can be sure that many more adventures are in store for our intrepid heroine, Abby Knight Salvare and her hunky husband, Marco.

Kate’s latest cozy mystery series is set in the quaint Michigan waterfront tourist town of Sequoia, Michigan. The Goddess Of Greene Street Mystery series focuses on a young mother returning home to her large, loud, and ludicrous Greek family after suffering through a failed marriage and unsatisfying career in the big city.

The first book, Statue Of Limitations, has been a huge success, and Kate is looking forward to the second book, My Big Fat Greek Murder, coming out in November 2020. A third book is currently in the works along with a new Flower Shop Mystery novella.

All of Kate’s mystery are available in print, digital, and large-print editions both in the U.S. and in the UK. Kate’s historical romances and children’s anthologies are also available in digital format at Amazon, B&N, and other e-book sellers.

When not growing roots at her computer, Kate loves to garden. Other passions include yoga, travel, decorating, reading, spending time with family and friends, sampling great wines and fine dark chocolate, and enjoying every moment of life. The author lives in Northwest Indiana and Key West, Florida.
